Sitting near the shores of Lake Superior in the state’s northwest corner, Gondik Law Speedway has been a fixture of Friday night dirt track racing since 1962. Known through the years as Superior Speedway and later Amsoil Speedway, the track has gone through several rebrands but never lost its reputation as one of the Northland’s toughest tests of speed and nerve.
The 3/8-mile clay oval seats around 2,500 fans and runs a full WISSOTA-sanctioned weekly program. Late Models, Modifieds, Super Stocks, Midwest Modifieds, Pure Stocks, and Hornets all battle under the lights.
